a work in progress…

So. This is my little work-in-progress blog. It is a work in progress for two reasons. This is my very first blog ever… which is a little embarrassing. I am getting to know it, become familiar with it, etc. Right now we are in the first few minutes of a blind date where we are optimistically trying to learn more about each other, but it’s still very awkward and we are both kind of hoping the other person will offer to pick up the check. The other reason this little ditty is a work in progress is because I will be documenting my beginnings as a letterpress printer. I took a letterpress class as AS220 in Providence last year and fell in deep like and have been trying to keep at it ever since. I have a little etsy store and have done a few projects for friends so far, but would definitely like to branch out.

Aside from letterpress, I just generally love designing. Whether it is a poster for a local theater group or an invitation to my niece’s 2nd birthday party, I really enjoy creating something that is visually exciting. I do more than just letterpress and I would like to use this blog to showcase some of that work too.

I suppose this is where we insert obligatory “here we go” statement. Enjoy!
